GPT tournament and DPB training camp in Essen completely booked out
The training camp of the German Padel Federation on 07 and 08 October 2017 in Essen under the leadership of ex-WPT pro Jani Gisbert (DPB Sporting Advisor) is fully booked with 10 female padel players and 16 male padel players.
The training is open to spectators and will take place on Friday from 3pm to 10pm and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 8pm.
The Argentinean "special" is the Padel pro Guga Vazquez support Jani Gisbert's training on Friday and Saturday.
The 32-year-old WPT player is currently ranked 42nd on the World Padel Tour and has already played against well-known greats like Marcello Jardim, Ramiro Moyano and Miguel Lamperti can win.
After the training camp, a GPT-1,000 tournament for men (category 1) will take place on Sunday. Here, in addition to most of the training participants, other top teams will also take part.
Among others, players from the Dutch national team, the former Davis Cup player Jens Knippschild as well as the Argentinean junior world champion Franz Enz with his partner Julio Moraleda.
The tournament is a unique opportunity for people interested in padel to watch padel at such a high level in Germany.
The tournament starts on Sunday at 09:00 and is expected to end at 18:00.
