New padel locations open - Padel Tennis continues to grow!
A lot of new padel courts are being built as extensions of existing padel sports facilities and completely new padel locations - new padel playing fields are being built almost weekly. And of course there are also many padel events.

New Padel locations
Padel Heilbronn
Heilbronn is becoming a trend sports location, as the Sportivo sports and health centre in Heilbronn-Frankenbach will no longer offer tennis courts from 1 June. Instead, seven padel courts are to be built from the beginning of July. So far, there are only a few padel courts in the region. The conversion of tennis courts into padel courts makes it possible for more people to play on an area of about 700 square metres.
Padel Leck North Frisia
At Kokkedahler Way in Leck were two new Padel courts opened. The fan base of this growing Sport becomes from the tennis department of the MTV Leak which created the padel courts on its outdoor facility. An opening tournament for tennis and Padel friends has already taken place, at which Interested the new Offer and, if desired, receive professional guidance.
Padel & Pickleball in Lübeck
The Racket Club Lübeck e.V. is the youngest tennis club in Lübeck. However, founder Alexander Kux plans to offer modern sports such as pickleball and padel tennis from June. Both are less complicated to play than tennis and more athletes play per court.
Padel Brunswick
Braunschweig has also had a padel hall since last year. Founder and operator of the Hall of Padel are Carlos Erro Domene and his business partner Begoña Fernández Nuevo. But the two are already thinking about another location - preferably in Wolfsburg. Because that's where they both work at VW. And in Braunschweig, the Hall of Padel works together with the Braunschweig Tennis and Hockey Club, among others.
Padel Tennis TC 1971 Wevelinghoven
TC 1971 Wevelinghoven also has a padel court since this spring 2023. According to Managing Director Jens Goetz, the padel court was built with the help of the NRW funding programme "Modern Sports Facilities". Thanks to this funding, the padel court is not only available to club members, but also to anyone else interested in padel.
