Peter Bruijsten & Andreas Beer win FIP100 Padel tournament in Cologne
Peter Bruijsten (Netherlands) and Andreas Beer (Sweden) win the FIP100 Padel tournament in Cologne at walls in the padelBOX!
The Swedish-Dutch duo won the final 7-6 6-2 against Christian Böhnke and Lennart Samuelsen, perhaps the best German team in the tournament at the moment.
In the semi-final matches, the results were as follows:
- Bruijsten/Beer v Crasson/Gardier 7:6 and 6:2
- Samuelsen/Böhnke v Snellink/Boers 6:4, 5:7 and 6:4
There were also some very close results in the quarter-final matches and the eventual winners Bruijsten/Beer had to go into the third set against Justus Herbert and Andre Mordhorst - this match could also have ended differently...
All in all, one can only say: Peter Bruijsten continues his almost uncanny winning streak in Cologne and remains unbeaten.
Award ceremony
Finally, the winners were rewarded for their efforts and great padel games at the award ceremony. The first place winners received vouchers for new shoes from Head and 300 euros from Padel-Test. The runners-up received 150 euros and the third-place winners 100 euros. And each participant received a small welcome package from Walls. So the Next Padel Tournament will once again be a complete success for players and organisers.
