Wilson becomes main sponsor of padelworld Bochum: strategic partnership to promote padel in Germany

padelworld BochumWilson becomes the main sponsor of padelworld Bochum. In addition to branding on the facility, joint projects and the strategic promotion of padel in Germany are planned. The partnership has been agreed for five years.

"Wilson, as a racket sports supplier, is proud to be a partner of padelworld Bochum. In the heart of the Ruhr area, this facility is already a flagship and offers us the perfect starting signal to further promote and help shape the highly trendy sport of padel in Germany," says Wilson's Thorsten Nowak, who is responsible for Central Europe.

"I am very pleased to be working with Wilson to have a strong and strategic partner for padelworld Bochum at our side as the main sponsor. In addition to the advertising measures at the facility and the Padel racketsIn addition to the equipment, shoes and textiles in our shop, our common goal is to make the sport better known and promote it in Germany through various measures," says founder and owner Marcel Maltritz, explaining the cooperation. "Among other things, we will cast a junior team with 10 players and equip them completely.

 

Looking to the future, the former competitive athlete has a very personal highlight in mind:
"Team Wilson also includes Fernando "Bela" Belasteguin, he was world number one for 16 years and is still an absolute top player. As soon as it is possible again, he will visit padelworld Bochum for a show match and we can present world-class padel in the Ruhr area."
