First padel court in Saarland

Padel tennis in Saarland: Service-Auto-Garage GmbH in Rehlingen opened both the new CUPRA Garage Rehlingen and the first padel court in Saarland on 29 July.

This makes it the first CUPRA dealer in Germany with its own padel court.

Padel, a mixture of tennis and squash, is enjoying growing popularity worldwide and is one of the most popular sports, especially in Spain, the home of CUPRA.

For the opening of the padel court and garage, prominent padel players such as Victoria Kurz, Johannes Lindmeyer, Matthias Wunner and Jonas Messerschmidt were present and played a show match.

The opening programme was enriched by the DTM Safety Car, a special version of the CUPRA Formentor VZ5.

The padel court was built in just three weeks by Michael Hein, managing director of Service-Auto-Garage, in cooperation with the Spanish padel court builder Padel Creations erected.
